THIS SEASON Kovalyov in The Nose for his Met debut, Emile de Becque in the Broadway revival of South Pacific (for which he won the 2008 Tony Award as Best Actor in a Musical), Escamillo in Carmen in Valencia, and his Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Pops Orchestra.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Eugene Onegin, Donato in Menotti’s Maria Golovin, and Camille in The Merry Widow in Marseille, Des Grieux in Massenet’s Le Portrait de Manon at Barcelona’s Liceo, Escamillo in Toronto, Marcello in La Bohème in Lyon, Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro for the Flemish Opera, Donato at Italy’s Spoleto Festival, Don Giovanni in Bordeaux, his 2008 debut with the New York Philharmonic, and Escamillo, Belcore in L’Elisir d’Amore, and the Count with the New York City Opera. Future engagements include Escamillo at the San Francisco Opera, Guglielmo for his debut with the Paris Opera, and Don Giovanni for the Dallas Opera.
