CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Recent performances include his first Arkel in Pelléas et Mélisande at Vienna’s Theater an der Wien, his first Fiesco in Simon Boccanegra with the Canadian Opera Company, his debut with the Houston Grand Opera as Claggart, Fafner in Das Rheingold at Covent Garden and the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Don Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with the San Francisco Opera, and Hunding at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He has also been heard with Madrid’s Teatro Real, Paris’s Bastille Opera, the Netherlands Opera, Berlin State Opera (Unter den Linden), and Brussels’s La Monnaie.
